Peter
Gust | Vice
President of Resort Operations
Reporting
to the Chairman/CEO, Mr. Gust oversees and is responsible
for all Resort and HOA Management activities, which includes
the operation and development of the company’s rental
program known as “The Tapestry Collection”. As
part of the Senior Management team, Mr. Gust is also involved
with the company’s strategic planning initiatives.
Mr. Gust has been in resort and property
management business for over 21 years holding a number of both
financial and operational positions during his tenure. During
that time, he has participated in over 45 resort transitions
in both the domestic and international markets. Currently, he
and his team are responsible for operational and/or rental activities
at 20 resorts located in the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico,
and Asia. Prior to his current position as Vice President of
Resort Operations, Mr. Gust was the Vice President of Finance
and Accounting for the organization, managing both the company’s
Corporate and Resort Financial and Administrative operations.
Peter has been instrumental in developing a first class Resort
Operations infrastructure, which includes detailed Operational
and Training Standards of Performance, Financial Reporting and
Control Processes, and Feedback tools that allow for continual
monitoring of resort quality and guest experience. He continues
to use his vast accounting and finance background to help develop
sound financial strategies for the resorts Tapestry manages.
Before joining the Tapestry management team in 2002, Peter was
the Director of Finance and Accounting with RCI Management, Inc.,
A division of RCI, where he had fiscal responsibility of over
30 properties located in the United States and Mexico with combined
annual revenues of $50 million dollars.
Peter holds a Master’s of Science degree in Business Administration with
an emphasis in Finance from Redland’s University’s Whitehead School
of Business and also holds an under graduate Degree in Accounting from California
State University, Fullerton
