Ken
Owens | Vice
President of Reservations and Travel Services
Ken is responsible for the Reservations
and Club Services for all of Tapestry Resorts’ clients;
their owners and members and oversees the Platinum Concierge
services.
Ken is also the Managing Director of the Travel Escapes! Club
Ken has an extensive background in the travel and vacation
industry including experience with the following well known
Travel Industry Vacation providers and suppliers:
a. Ken was the Director of Charter Sales And Operations for Pacific Southwest
Airlines (PSA),
b. Ken was also the Director of National Sales, and Director of Advertising and
Promotions for PSA during his 15 year career with that illustrious airline.
c. After PSA, Ken became the Manager of Reservations Services for Sitmar Cruises.
d. He was quickly promoted to Director of Incentive and Large Group business
for Sitmar.
e. When Princess Cruises acquired Sitmar, Ken continued in the role of Incentive
and Large group sales for Princess Cruises.
f. Radisson Hotels then hired Ken to become their first Vice President Marketing
and Sales for the new Radisson Diamond Cruise line living in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida,
g. Ken then joined The Moorings (the world’s largest charter yacht company)
to become their Director of Marketing for their Crewed Yacht and Hotel products.
Later, Ken was to become the Vice President of Vacations for Balboa Travel in
San Diego.
Prior to joining Tapestry Resorts in 2002, Ken’s most recent experience
was as the Vice President of Marketing for RCI Resort Management.
